Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster
Blackjack is a game that evokes images of a crazy ride. It is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom falls.
Blackjack is so akin to a wild ride the similarities are astonishing. As with the popular amusement park experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seemingly be going well for a time before it bottoms out one more time. You have to be a player that’s able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of black jack is choked full with them.
If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a fatter wager, then jump aboard for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because they are not thinking on the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not always remember how much you enjoyed the good life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride and your head in the sky. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t remember how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that mortifying fall as clear as day.
